I have a gut feeling the second I buy these from an overseas seller, they'll hit all the US QS accounts a few weeks after I get them. Same thing happenedto me with the Opium 180s - pay a grip for them overseas, next thing you know plentiful here.

Does anyone know the sizing of these? Looking to get a pair in true size, or go a half up. Thanks!!

i noticed many of the retros turned BLACK or almost a dark green after many years/months of wear. maybe they looked at an old source photo when they decided togo with that color choice. None the less, ill be painting mine with some arcylic paint i suppose

I'll talk more about the similarities and differences between the 2002s and 2008s if any of yall care later on

obviously the NIKE at the forefoot is more of an olive green like some have stated. the lacelock is also a BRIGHTER green than the 2002s. so thats a weird mixright there.
overall strictly on the cosmetic front, id recommend these to everyone. Quality effort here

Nike's air trainer 1 progression:
from left to right:
1990 Air Trainer High WH/MD GY-BLK
2000 Air Trainer 1 WHITE/BLACK - MEDIUM GREY - CHLOR
2002 Air Trainer 1 WHITE/BLK - CHLOROPHYL - MED GREY
2008 Air Trainer 1 WHITE/BLACK- CHLRPHYLL- MDM GRY
The color has changed over the years. The grey suede is becoming brighter and brighter, although still a subtle difference to the uninformed. The green hasalso gone from a bright rich grass green to a more chlorophyll color. Its funny that these are now titled chlorophylls when the originials dont even resemblethem.
Here is a good shot of the 2002s on the left and the 2008s on the right. Other than the NIKE on the forefoot strap being darker on the newer releases, theseare basically replicas of one another. One could argue that the eyelet on the newer ones is a brighter lime green compared to the 2002s. You could also saythat the medium grey color on the 2008s is a shade or two brighter as well. As the retros continue, they seem to be going further and further from the darkrich bluish grey suede of the originials in favor of something alittle more drab.
Comparing the orginials on the far left, the 2000 edition (the 2nd over from the left) and the 2008 edition (far right pair) it looks like the 2008s are morealong the same shape as the originals from 1990 and not the retros from 2000. its very much evident in this last shot. the two middle pairs seem wider at theankle.
you can never get perfection. two steps forward, one step back. you get great effort on the latest shape change. but yet the color and materials are still notperfect. so its a tough situation to be in. Do you go with the 2000 with perfect material matching, wrong colors, and a shape thats just a bit off, or for theshoe with different materials, the same wrong colors, but a shape thats almost perfect. too bad they can never get it just right
