Also, if that is the marketing Nike is gonna use, using the Lil Penny NBC intro doesn't make sense.

Lil Penny is cutting a Jordan I.E, that doesn't have patent leather

Jordan didn't wear the Spacejam (or this PE pair that look like the Spacejams, however people want to call them) in that series if I remember correctly, he debuted them the year before in the series the Magic won.

And Penny wore the 2s in the season after this series took place. He wore the 1s in this series

This just comes off as lazy all around if this is the story

Nike coming out with these was unnecessary because nobody will ever accept a Penny 2 with patent leather on it from a purist standpoint.

Im not a huge patent leather dude, not a huge huge fan of the XI's actually but those dont look as bad as I thought they would when I first heard about them earlier from somewhere. I kinda like em.
