I just noticed on my white pair that the black sole is actually like a semi-clear smoke sole. It depends how close u look and how bright a light is

Those would be ok. I still have my NYK penny 1's on ice. I would just love those all-star black penny 1's with the blue check. So classic. If they docome back out I hope they use suede and not leather like some retro nikes
