I went up .5 with the size 9.5. It is perfect but my true to size is 9.
I also have the size 9 and it is also perfect, but my big toe literally has pressing against the front edge of the shoes.
So I only played with the 9.5, 7 or 8 times, and i had my first blister the last time on the top of my small toe (not on the side).
I don't know why it happened. Maybe i think my left shoe was not enough tight so my foot mooved inside the shoe. My left foot is more a size 8.80, and my right foot a true size 9.
The last five minutes i was not able to run due to the pain. It was terrible.
It is kind of funny because my whole body does know that it is not a size 9.
I'm thinking about trying the size 9, but i'm still afraid for my left small toe and maybe my right big toe. Maybe with thin socks it can work.
Traction are really good. Cushionning is really good too, but for the fade away it is not the perfection due to the formula 23 or maybe the .5 size up. I also think it is not enough low to the ground in the heel and a little bit stiff to make the fade away.
The tech specs really impressed me. I think without the pinky toe issue, they are one the best shoes of all time. I really love the formula 23 because it is like you have a hard air sole unit, and in the same time it will never be deteriored.
But it is really really hard to detect the real size.
Last thing, during a full court press i was not able to moov and change direction and to make defensive slide.
