Wore these to school today for a few hours.
They feel like a pair of steel planks on the feet. Like steel planks, they also don't crease - at all. Aside from the dirty outsole, my pair shows no signs of wear whatsoever.

I suppose that's where the tradeoff comes in - comfort and quality for looks.

They feel good. I've been wearing them for a few hours and no complaints. Minimal creasing. I'll snap a pic after I get home. Def true to fit.

I was wearing my 05 pair today and a Footlocker employee thought that I got them early. I have not wear them that much so they still look new. I'm getting another pair for sure. This is one of my favorite Jordans.

Mine don't have 'em, except for at the very heel of the inner side. But every single pair in all the pics I've seen seems to have them there. It looks like while the leather on these has become resistant to creasing, the mesh has taken a step backwards in that regard.
I guess it's down to picking the best pair out of the ones available on RD, and seems I just got lucky.

shoetrends is legit.
they tend to ship a lil earlier than the expected ship date.
they ship with sig confirmation via fedex
they ship with no notice you expect to miss the 1st delivery unless you are home
