Damn thats a heck of setup!just looked at mine. no yellowing and I live in humid ***** japan. The setup i have is shoes in a ziploc, paper folded at the bottom of the box, two silica packs, bubble wrapped the concord box, and double boxed. Mine smell so good and love the fact the sole is holding up nice.
Do you think that the bred release is going to be as big as the Concord? So far, I don't think that they have the same "buzz".
I would say no since a lot of people still have the CDP 11's or even better the 2001 11's in Good to Great condition
doesnt matter what "some" people own
this wil be just as big as the concord release. no if, ands, or buts about it
its a pain to look at them tho. i might just wear them next summerDamn thats a heck of setup!just looked at mine. no yellowing and I live in humid ***** japan. Thank you for telling us that you are passing on the "bred 11s" in the Concord topic.

I agree. I think that the Concord is just a better looking shoe as it pertains to the "masses". Breds are a good looking colorway, and there is bound to be confusion with its release, but the Concord took sneaker releases to a whole new level. Just think, Nike (and possibly other companies) have changed their release methods to involve twitter, 8am releases, etc... because of all of the confusion that occurrs, but what started with this sneaker. I know that the cool grey 11 release did have some "crazyness" at various stores around the country, but it doesn't compare to what happened last December. Plus, some of us are still trying to get a pair (Anyone know of any places that may get some Concord restocks?) We'll just have to see what happens.

That started with the Galaxy Foams, not the Concords. To me, it's the Space Jams that really blew the whole sneaker campout up to the point where it became "mainstream." The Concord release was where the popularity of camping out has reached its peak. Then the Galaxy Foams pushed that over its limit when people started camping out a whole week before release and caused so much chaos that some stores had to cancel their release. Nike started the whole RSVP system like, 2 days after this shoe's release. It was hilarious because I remember the confusion when the White Cement IVs came out a week before the Foams, and people thought they were camping out for those, but nope... it was for the Foams... You can blame that shoe for blowing up the Foams, as well.I agree. I think that the Concord is just a better looking shoe as it pertains to the "masses".
