From my experience, yes, it does mess with the traction. I used some Duraclear on the VI lows way back in the day and it pretty much ruined them. They were slippery as hell and after some wear, the Duraclear started to chip off around the clear part of the midsole. It also began to yellow, which I think was more or less just dirt from actually wearing them.
Maybe I did it wrong, but I would never put Duraclear on clear soles ever again.

Most of the time when I use it it's on a pair I don't plan on wearing. But there has been a few pair I broke out and the duraclear vanishes pretty quick. Now seaglow is something I'd never use again. You are literaly ice skating.Originally Posted by superblyTRIFE
