Do you think JB will ever release an IX with real quality leather and proper perforations like the OGs? I have a feeling the color difference won’t bother me at all but I’m still gonna be lusting after anything that creases like these

We can only hope fam! The 9's are a very neglected Jordan model in terms of quality and closeness to the OG's.Do you think JB will ever release an IX with real quality leather and proper perforations like the OGs? That side (profile) pic makes them look worse to me than previous pics. Not a good convincer that the shape is much better on these.

'24 rendition is lighter but comes close to the ogs, the blues not quite as dark on '24 , but Even the ogs had a cerulean color to them.

At least thats how it appears in the pictures.
The sky blue/unc blue colors still better(imo),
but this '24 (again not exact) it is fairly close to the og in terms of the blue.

OK, OK..... so the official colorway for the 1994 OG 9's was "White/Black-Dark Powder Blue", so what does the colorway say on the Box for the 2024's? anyone?

I also prefer the more traditional UNC blue, which Nike now calls Valor Blue. But even that has varied over the years and even across sports at UNC. I actually prefer the shade they used in the 90s over Valor Blue, but both are better than what the 9s were.
