Perhaps that is one of your main concerns, because each time I see someone make a beef with a detail that they would have liked to see stay closer to the OG, you pop off with some "You think when you are wearing them on the street someone is going to see your shoes and _________________?"
I don't think this is what @NobleKane or the majority of the other members are referring to, including myself.
That black air unit is unappealing. Granted it is a minor detail and can easily be overlooked and will most likely not deter many from copping. I know it will not deter me one bit, as these are Grails to me.
I'm not sure if you misunderstand the connection some have to these shoes or if you generally see collecting as a fashion statement or business, but your comments are glaringly myopic.
Personally, I want to see the kicks resemble the OG's as closely as possible. I don't care what anyone thinks about what I wear, as I have come to the conclusion as I've grown to be a man, that people could care less what I'm wearing or what I'm doing, and frankly, I prefer to keep it that way.
Freedom in anonymity.
All I read in your story was "it will not deter me..yadayadayada.."
You contradicted yourself many times over in your story up there. Who's really the shortsighted one?
I don't know why you're writing paragraphs just to complain and defend another MAN. Seems a bit odd. With that typed, I'm not interested in a battle of words with you. I'm here to talk and comment on the shoes, thank you and good day to you, sir!
Bravo my man, bravo.
And just so you're not any more confused than you already are, I wasn't defending anyone, just pointing to your nagging tendency to call others out incessantly over their opinions. Over and over and over again...
Anyhow, concessions are to you sir. You're definitely correct in stating that you don't want to get into "a battle of words", because neither do I. I have no need to "battle" anyone.
So, please do as you said you would: "talk and comment on the shoes"...and maybe stop sweating other members' opinions so much. It's unbecoming of a gentleman such as yourself.
Peace.

It is closer to the OGs. The thing we were looking at in the pictures wasn't the shade of grey. It was the alignment of the curves on the side. They are so different, they resemble fakes compared to the 99s.
I won't lie tho, still coppin.
