LOL.. so you're cool with resellers eating up the pairs at $190 and selling them for $250, but if Jordan does it then that's bad?250 should be RESALE, not retail. and that sole is gonna look terrible in no time. pretty sure i'ma pass on these. if i was gonna cop a pair of lasers out of the 3 so far, these woulda been it.

Why would someone be ok paying $250 to a reseller but not to Jordan. The logic is that everyone who has supported a reseller in the past and continues to support resellers today have created the $250 price themselves. Jordan doesn't want to leave crumbs on the table so they will go get it themselves.what logic is this? resellers is the worse case price so why want the originally seller to be more expensive? that makes no sense.

THISultimately, it shouldn't matter WHO you buy the shoes from. Its the total that YOU are actually paying.
It does make sense. You are looking at it from one side, Im looking at it from my point and the point of the business.unless you are getting a cut of JB profits then simple economics says you want the starting point to be the lowest possible number from a consumer perspective.
in addition, i am not paying a reseller for every release therefore, i would rather pay the lowest number possible before looking at the after market.
it makes absolutely no sense to say "hey, id rather over pay JB 10 times out of 10 because I'm not buying from a reseller" than to say hey... i had to pay $250 ONCE this year because i couldn't secure my pair.
ultimately, it shouldn't matter WHO you buy the shoes from. Its the total that YOU are actually paying.
your argument isn't that of a consumer but as the one receiving the profits. doesn't make sense.

You are asking for your cake and to eat it too. If you support resellers and JB see's that money going to them, they will raise the price. You cant be half in and only pay resell sometimes and not expect it to impact the retail price YOU are paying.
I'm in the same boat. I live in South Georgia, where we never get anything but GR shoes. My only options to cop are the Laser 4s are NDC, the SNKRS app, and maybe some Euro sites, or I'm SOL. I would love for them to had retailed for $190, because if I struck out I would have to pay a reseller $250, more a little more. If Jordan always released at $250, that only means I would have to pay resellers even more. At this point in the game, higher retail prices aren't scaring resellers away, only just raising the prices on the secondary market for consumers like me. The thought of giving my money to JB directly rather than resellers is crazy, because that obviously means a raise in box price.... and that's a NO GO!!!I am looking at it from a CONSUMER point of view. I AM A CONSUMER. I WANT THE LOWEST PRICE POSSIBLE. You are a CONSUMER. Why are you looking at it from a BUSINESS prospective as if you are PROFITING from jordans sales? You too are a CONSUMER so how can you even justify things.unless you are getting a cut of JB profits then simple economics says you want the starting point to be the lowest possible number from a consumer perspective.

And how can i not be half in? Not every release drops near me and i understand that. You really dont get it man.... you really dont

Yeah. im wondering if we are gonna see a point where the resellers run out of gas / money for a min bc there's so much stuff sitting on eBay at basically retail or $10 over retail that these guys are holding on too. They need to liquidate their money to keep things moving. Since the price hikes u see so many resellers flipping shoes at flat out retail price. Is the new hustle flipping kicks for free FTL coupons??? Lmao
I get it, I really do. I think it's you that don't. Im a realistic consumer, if I want to keep my head in the sand I would wish that these retros still cost $150 instead of $190 or $250. Go ahead and support resellers and you will continue to see Nike as a business increase their price.I am looking at it from a CONSUMER point of view. I AM A CONSUMER. starve them. don't even pay retail from a reseller. let them realize their losses and think twice about trying this 'hustle'. Then and only then will things start going back to the good old daysYeah. im wondering if we are gonna see a point where the resellers run out of gas / money for a min bc there's so much stuff sitting on eBay at basically retail or $10 over retail that these guys are holding on too.
