2pacalypsenow 2pacalypsenow bruh....they came out fire!!!! Reps!
Please bless us with the list of paints or finisher you used for this. I have the same plan for one of my pairs that arrives. Paint one to resemble a proper BC3. I just need to order the materials.

I’m gonna kick myself later for doing this, but I originally bought these to customize to black cements. However they were beautiful when I saw them and saw myself in a dilemma. But I had to do it because it was the original plan and honestly I cannot rock red shoes. I love how they turned out tho.

WOW!!! VERY impressive!! Can you tell us everything you did and used? Which color of Angelus paint? I'm going to want to do it to my pair (or a 2nd if they do go on sale which is looking likely).

I do have a question. How did you change the color of the 3 plastic lace holes at the bottom of the shoe? Did you just paint then? And if so, what color? My thought is that the color would wear off of plastic over time. Look forward to hearing your steps (and maybe a video to post of the process if you took one)? You should feel darn proud. You did an outstanding job!! 👍👍

Those came out perfect, never wanted to get a shoe customize until now. I also skipped out on BC3s because of that hideous elephant print cut on the toe, these custom's look crazy

Total custom time took about 2-3 hours. The custom itself was not perfect as you can see some have spotted out some red edges being seen on the leather. It’s up to you how much you want to cover, it’s a tedious process.
Materials:
Angelus flat black
Angelus red
Nail clear coat top glaze (for red eyelits)
Krylon matte finish
Fine paint brush for tight areas like edges
Process:
I’d paint the red eyelits first because it’s red and you wouldn’t mind getting red paint on the leather since the base is already red. Put about three layers and finish it with the nail top coat. This isn’t a very sturdy combo, eventually the paint will come off if you scratch it off. So try your best to not touch the red eyelits.
As for the leather, it’s the easy part to just paint it black. The tedious parts are using the fine brush to get the corners and areas where it meets the sock liner. If you get some black paint on the grey leather, use a toothpick to scratch it off. If you do it in time, it’s easier to get paint off as it hasnt fully adhered to the leather yet. Once your done just seal it with a coat of krylon matte finish. Take your time and you’ll have some black cements.

Seriously spoonmanofthehour spoonmanofthehour ?!? Before these and the LAtoChis, I never flipped. Again, I was adamant that I didn’t need these, but my wife and I went to Portland, and I usually swing by the Nike Store, so we went. As soon as I saw them in the store, I knew I should’ve kept my az away from that place.

Did you use a spray or brush for the main part? If so which brushes?
