I like em much better than the 5s. I'm also a big fan of off white. Cop if the money is right, pass if not.

Also they do have elephant print. Are we not seeing the same pics?

hmm the first of this series that i actually like wouild cop, depends totally on what else drops in march tho.

I wasn't aware that these were dropping in March, I had heard that the Katrina's were, but not the 5LAB3 3's. Hopefully, these do drop in March or April but there's final picture's so we can decide whether we want to cop or not.

Shoes are mehhh. Not bad, not particularly good. Definitely couldn't see myself wearing them. Better than the 3lab5s tho.

After what that one other poster had said earlier, I really don't think this is a recent concept model of the shoe. Maybe I'm in denial or something, but there needs to be a drastic upgrade with certain aspects to make me cop, because this was not what I had envisioned when thinking of the colorway.

That's the one thing I'm actually not feeling, everything else is looking so clean. The black and white contrasting perfectly and then BAM that icy blue sole. I think it should have been either white or black like other 3's.

That clear/icy sole needs to be replaced with either a solid white or black, it throws off the entire shoe in my opinion.

In regards to the elephant print or the icy sole? It seems to be the main points of concern. Some people love the elephant print others don't, as well with icy soles. Too many people on the fence.

I like the idea of new elements, but since this seems to be a shoe that is set for release and it's a 3, I hope there's elephant print lol.

Actually, I'm not even sure how authentic these picture's really are. If you notice, on one version of the shoe it's blue and icy, as for the pair it seems darker. But l like someone else said, I would have preferred a solid color whether it was white or black instead. Either way, it's all speculation until we probably get closer to a release date on the shoe and there's better pictures of hopefully what is a final product.

It looks like the lighting/filter to me. Clear soles have always had this effect when looking at them from a different angle.

The 3lab5s reminded me of the Flip Jordan 3s. These remind me of the Green Beans. Maybe I am reaching but the Lab series is supposed to look like a shoe that already came out. Keep the main color the same but change the accent color.

Hopefully it is just the lighting and the angles that is impacting the soles and almost making them the main focus when looking at these pictures. I'm not knockin on icy soles, they look dope on the other shoe's. But, maybe because the camera seems so up, close, and personal with the shoe's the sole's seem out of place with the rest of the colorway on the shoe? Maybe if we're lucky, soon we can get better pictures to help us decide better how we feel in regards to the shoe. For all I know, this could be a hit or miss and we may be in store for two 5LAB3 3's. Just like the first 3LAB5's not a lot of people were into, but more people started feeling the second 3lab5's, you get what I'm saying? There hopefully possibly could be a second colorway of the 5LAB3 3's. All a guess on a high hoping theory though lol. As far as what the series is supposed to be about, I still don't think I'm too clear on it myself. As for my understanding on the subject, they're supposed to be elements from another retro implemented into a completely different shoe. Which would explain why the majority of the shoe seems to be the V's tongue all over. I don't know about the colorway's though, the way I see it, JB is trying out new styles and new color's. So I'm not sure if JB would exclude new colorway's from a new series they hope takes off. The Infrared 3LAB5's and I guess the Gamma Blue 3LAB5's do remind me of the Flip's (my mistake, trying to think and write while on pain medicine isn't very smart). On a side note, if these don't come out to my liking, I'm getting some flips lol.

That's a bold statement to make, 99% of people don't even think the LAB series will stick around, much less produce any classic shoes. I'm in the neutral zone, I feel like the Infrared 3LAB5's will eventually be seen as a classic and these can very well be a classic top Jordan 3. But, I'd have to see final production pictures first as well as hold them in hand. But I'm a sucker for 1's, 3's, 4's, 5's, 6's, 7's, and some 11's, 12's, and 13's. Mainly 5 and below though, so it's always nice seeing a nice mix of two classic shoes. I may be a minority here, but I love the Spi'zikes.
