You have a wonderful partner willing to spend and go out of her way to get these for you.  Cherish that and her!  Enjoy the shoes fam

Thanks fam, I do - everyday.

These will go the same way as all the other OG releases. Easily attainable

Yeah, and then everyone that was "down for two pair" will hit the mall on release day and because there are sizes left and they are in stock online on the afternoon - most will complain about quality, when they really just wanna complain they aren't as "limited" as they would like them to be - aka - they aren't as "cool" to have on their feet because other people have them as well...

What the hell happened to sneaker culture? lol it's laughable.

I wear my 88's to the mall and kids stop and ask me about them, I see them pointing or looking - they are one of my most worn and favorite recent retro's. Yet, the recent FR3's and TB3's were honestly JUST as nice quality wise, yet nobody complains about the 88's.

88s have a ton of issues lol. But they aren't cheaply made. That was my only gripe with the TB3s. One of the things on the TBs I like is the shape. It's sleek like 3s supposed to be, I can over look the height of the elephant print.

Bingo we have a winner. 88s get no complaints because of the resale price. Period.

Agreed - the shape of the TB3's is actually better than the 88's IMO. I hope JB stays the course with overall shape and he trend continues with the NABC3's - I would like to say that I can't imagine JB bringing back one of the most loved and iconic CW's of the OG3 and using subpar materials - but when it comes to JB, any mass produced shoe is hit or miss on quality of matierals. The "remastered" price increase was for just that - better quality leather and craftsmanship, yet I can't agree that the price bump justifies the current level of quality, I am happy with them and I'm defiantly not complaining - and don't see why most people are, but that's just my opinion.

When I picked up my TB3, I was wearing my 88's - I took some pictures in the car while waiting for a movie for comparison:

Shape of the TB3 is more boxy and the print is a bit higher - obv the TB3 are DS, but IMO the leather on them is nicer than the 88's - these BC3 could have quality and shape of either and I'm not complaining one bit... :smokin

Regret not grabbing a pair of 88s couple years ago when they came out

dog the quality on my 2011 black cement 3's were GARBAGE. easily one of the worst quality jordans ive copped along with the 2012 bred 4's :x

jordan brand needs to do this right and really up the quality if they are upping the prices.. that is if this shoe even releases :lol

I'm happy for people that are excited for these, seriously. Easy pass for me if the tongue and EP issues are the same as the TB's. C'mon, the damn red liner came up a quarter inch over the tongue. That is unacceptable to me. To each his own...

Just sold my 2011's at a consignment shop.
Waiting patiently to buy 3 pairs of NA if they release...

.

what are you talking about fam i agree with you for the most part but the quality not being up to par is nothing new... their quality is trash thats fact it has nothing to do with being cool or others having them :lol

There's a reason you wear your 88's to the mall and it ain't 'cause they're so comfy. They mean something to you AND you know it's unlikely anyone else will be wearing them. THAT"S sneaker culture. We don't all want to be wearing the same damn thing. What kind of conversation you gonna have with other 'heads when you're wearing the same shoes? I like limited releases. I like somebody rockin' something I ain't seen in awhile. That's a nice conversation starter. When I wear my Red Devil SB's somebody will notice and we'll talk about them, and we can talk about what they're wearing and why. I like that...

Wish we could get a confirmed date on the next nike air model...if one is dropping ASW we should know in a few weeks

In a thread based on pure speculation.... we gotta bend the rules on resale talk. So peeps can plot and plan. Or its all, "toebox, toebox, shoe shape sucks, True Blues sucked, they still sittin". If not may as well lock this exciting thread.

Is that how much the 2011 pairs are going for now? $500? I still have 2 deadstock pairs

I would say the avg fair price would be around $375. Seen a DS pair where the seller had the mid sole repainted and offering at $450.

Turning mine into RIF today for a quick come up. Worn but great condition. Hoping to fetch $250
