I don't understand all the hate, it's a decent to nice lifestyle shoe, better looking than the LeBron lifestyles and the kd paul bunyans, yeah that volt colorway is a bit price ok way pricey but they'll go on sale, count me in for the bred 3m pair

I can probably explain some of the hate.

First the lifestyle LeBron's, KD's, and Kobe's aren't as expensive as these. Those lifestyle shoes are just an alternative to the main shoe of each player. Not many people buy those lifestyle shoes either. Check your local outlets.

This shoe is a stand alone shoe. It has no compliment. It's literally just a random release from another planet at a time when the next numbered Jordan would usually release.

My issues are:

* Looks - Hideous
* Price - Ridiculous
* Technology - A shoe called Future with an almost 20 year old midsole/outsole?
* Random 3m - no 3m for the 13 retros but this entire shoe is 3m? What drunk dum-dum is making these decisions?

But most importantly what's the point of this shoe even existing? Why keep making stuff like this that just rots on store shelves and then gets shipped to outlets and sold for way less than they intended? Then JB makes like 100 pairs total for the entire USA of an in demand shoe that nobody can get but resellers. They need to stop wasting time and materials on poo like this and just make more of what we want. Or at least take the time and money they wasted to make these and fix their busted website ordering processes.

I don't get why they keep releasing shoes like this when there are retros people have been begging about for DECADES that haven't released. And lately, when they do finally give us releases we want, the quality is terrible and they make random changes like the Insta-pink 6's that released yesterday.

A lot of people here grew up with or around Jordans. Jordans were prestigious from like the early 80's to the late 90's. Shoes like this and Dubz and Spikes are like watching Jordan with the Wizards. It's hard to watch something that was great for so long fall so far.

I think considering the price and the style these are EASILY the worst Jordans ever. They look awful and they have no performance. Not many Jordans have both of these flaws. And JB will just throw a QS tag and some colors from shoes we really wanted on these and they will sell like hot cakes.

Shoe game is just silly these
days...

Honestly... The Jordan Future is the best original silhouette JB has put out since the XIII in 98. The XXI & XX8 are a close 2nd & 3rd.

I don't understand all the hate for these. Either way, more for me!

I like them because they're fairly simple. Theyre not too crazy with designs or has 5 different colors on them with floral patterns or something.

stand alone or not kd and LeBron lifestyles are hideous, the kobe's this yr aren't bad just like these, yeah I get it they're not good for basketball but I don't ball any of my Jordan retro's to begin with anyway they're all lifestyle shoes

they need to straighten out the laces on the futures, drop better cw's and lower the price to draw more attention

REPPED!

The gum sole is cool on the black model.... that's about it. And like someone else said, Retro J's are for the most part lifestyle shoes anyways, hardly anyone balls in em, I don't want new lifestyle J's, I already have plenty :lol . So why would I pay $185 for Jordan branded Roshes? :{

Few things...

1. These have nothing to do with Roshe...Jordan was looking for something that would move the brand forward, yet always given a nod to the past...they wanted something that could stand on it's own with minimal branding...basically the ICONIC Jordan XI tooling is the branding on the shoe...

2. These are a Premium execution and will most likely be limited...look for them to hit retail in a bigger way in the Summer time with a little more accessible price of $150...

3. These have nothing to do with the "lab" series...

4. Seen them in person...love them...they look great on foot...

5. They aren't meant to be a performance shoe...strictly lifestyle...you will see that when you put them on...

Questions?

JM
please everybody take a look at this post which seems to have been forgotten
