these look more like alternate maroons than Hares. In fact, i would get get the hares and add the grey paint to them.

From what I've seen the official color is gym red so I'm thinking/hoping maybe these early pics are misleading.

I have no idea at this point. I figured I would share what I saw. To me, it seems odd they would go this route for an "Alternate". Seems like it would an close to a "Hare" colorway of they ever did one. I don't know why they would make 2 colorways so close to each other like that

I didn't buy the Maroons. These are cool looking and I'd get a pair of they sit and can get under retail. It's funny as most hate how these look. I bought the Oreo 6 back in the day for next to nothing at FNL as they sat on shelves, as they were not an OG color. Now, Oreo 6's are sought after. I'm not saying these will he but these will be more popular than 1st thought. I always loved the two-tone colorways on the 6 ( a la Carmines, Olympics).

I totally agree with this. I prefer different color overlays. I personally didn't really like the nations but I kinda dig these.

don't know if its ever been coined, but their gimmick shoes just like the 09 flu games. I love the 72-10s but their a gimmick. If they want to release plus colorways that's great. But don't attach a gimmick to sell a shoe because the consumer sees right through it. 60 plus retros that were not even the colors he performed in were released as if we would know that was not the colorway mj was wearing. I actually like the colorway of these VIs. But if nike is going to start dropping certain models with other famous colors from other models they will just sit. People see through that and I wish nike would understand that.

I let these shoes take up way to much of my mental! After seeing that straight fire mock up of what they posted on different sites, I thought we'd get a shoe like the maroon remastered only a different color way (Air Hare)? Well after seeing the official pics i was sooo disappointed.... Anyways luckily I was able to get a 'dead stock' pair of the 2015 retro 7's 'Air Hares', they look amazing & their not just a concept instead an actual og color way! I'm so glad I was able to cop em. Be good fam & Love Yourz
