Looked reflective to me. Not as much as like legit 3M piping, but to me, it certainly looked like angles in that video were picking it up depending on where the lighting was. When Wing started talking about peeling things back and seeing the coating, I think that's what he was talking about.

I don't like 5's enough to put up with that. Painted cut lines was my line in the sand to tolerate, 3M cut lines sound like Canal St specials

His footage didn’t show anything. He never said it was 3M he started talking about the edges and how it was done. It’s pretty easy to say these are 3M and show the reflection. He didn’t do that with the back or the edges.
The issue is that some of you are reading into what you think, and not what he actually said.

You can tell from his video it's some type of metallic paint or finish on the lines. Not reflective like the tongue or NIKE AIR on the back.
And they still look like steel toes on-feet in his vid.

3M Scotchlite is a very specific material, I highly doubt the tongue even uses it anymore let alone the lines.
