Will never see past the brick toes on these and a billion other retro IVs.

Shape works for the way these turned out. They always gave me a work wear vibe....at least the off noirs anyway. Personal all time favorite for me . If they wouldn't have changed the toe box material on the last two I would've copped them too

Yeah, all that matters is whether or not you like a shoe. The shape bothers me on these as much as it does on regular IV (and other) retros. Lipstick on a pig and all that. But that's just me. Not knocking anyone who loves these.

Union 4s are still my favorite collab shoe. Totally revamped my favorite shoe and somehow it still works for me. The top down view of the toebox is crazy.

Saw a used Off Noir for a reasonable price. However, the midsole paint is starting to chip. Is it still worth purchasing?

Yeah it was crazy it was the only pair I've ever seen to be in that condition, must've been the humidity.

A GREAT feature about these is the material of the toebox does not crease easily. I’ve worn mine plenty of times and no signs of creasing. The yellow midsole could be an issue as the paint might chip or fade away, so that would be the main reason to double up. But if you have a large collection and aren’t hard on your sneakers, it probably isn’t necessary.
