One of the reasons I stopped copping J's years ago. Just pricing shenanigans and hikes.
Seems though this new climate (I have been collecting since 2001) allows for sales and discounts. Maybe not crazy but MUCH better than day 1 sell outs on EVERY J release. You value your dollar so if you want a particular pair, your prerogative.

Got my pair today. Only issue was some excess glue on the air bubble which came off easy. When you compare these to the 2006 and 2012 version of the iv's these are 1000x better. The iv's are also more comfortable to wear for longer periods since the change in material for the midsoles. I'm content with my pair and the price I paid for them. If these get discounted on Nike I'm tempted to double up since I still have 15% code to use.

I feel the same way. These are a guilt-free beater. Going to beat my RD pair and grab the double months from now for like $100 or something.

I think they made it more durable. Less chances of cracking and chipping.
Like on the True Blue 3 and white cement 4's. I've worn those COUNTLESS of times and no signs of wear, cracking and chipping. Compared to like CDP AJ4 or 2012 Jordan 4's. They chip once you just try them on. Lol.

Heat the glue up with a hair dryer and then slowly pull it off. Might help.

You got a point. I like the colorway a lot and had they dropped years ago when I was really into kicks I'm sure I would've copped. Now it just seems like a waste I guess.

Copped for about $120 after a few licks I hit. I love the cw and the og blocking but was gonna wait for them to hit the outlets here in the chi. But if they go for $150 at the outlets even if the were on hash they'd be about $120. Sneaker Economics 101!

Worse case you get them and aren't that impressed. They won't lose any value a year plus from now at that price and you could dump or trade them off if you feel the need. Best case, you love them and rock them to beat town or stock them for a fresh day in the future. I can't see these dropping much for than 120 anyways. I saw them in person yesterday at my local finishline, quality is definitely solid and the colorway looks better than in photos in my opinion.
