Was I happy when i copped the BC 3's? Yes. Did I know they were off from the OG's like in my AVI? Hell yes. I grew up first loving J's from my MJ books as a kid so I was always looked at the little things. But what your saying is no different than when they retro the BC 4's in 7 years with the right shape and right material. People are gonna be excited even though we were all excited this year because they fixed the shape despite the material change.

I loved the way the '01 pair fit me. The '18 pair was ok. It felt boxy though.

One thing they will probably do is resurrect the sunken in or collapsed ankle collar.
Don't know what happened with the collar on the '18's.

Honestly, it's probably just the same uppers from the cleats they're producing right now.

I recall vividly the back tab of 3s in '88 were well below the top of the collar. I don't know if it was a quarter inch or half an inch, but it wasn't even close. More like where the plastic on the 2s ends. i.e. They still haven't achieved the proper collar height. It wasn't until the 4s where the tab went above the collar.

They got the new mold with the improved tongue and the slightly lowered EP. That's enough for me. 2 pairs.

Digging the light print...all I really wanted besides the newer mold. Kinda hard to be blown away cause it's a shoe that returns alot but they look great.
