AIR JORDAN 3 BLACK CEMENT - NOVEMBER 23, 2024

Or it's simply a matter of opinion. Nobody is right or wrong, it's all just opinions. Some are little wilder than others, but hey! I'll save my judgement for when mine finally arrive.
Accuracy isn’t really up for opinion though. And there’s way more accurate on these than the 2018’s compared to the OGs.

“The 2018s are better” crowd seems like they’re just spewing copium. Just be honest and tell us the truth - that your funds ain’t right, or you have other financial priorities. Those are all mature things to admit to.

But telling us the 2018s are better is just a nasty lie.
It’s not that the 2018’s were “better” just that these aren’t much better. I already have these and had the 2018’s as well. These aren’t a $220 quality release. The bred 4’s earlier this year and the 11’s from last year were superb. Not to mention the WC 3’s from last year that were about as close to perfect as you could get. I recently bought a pair of white/black DT Max 96’ and the leather on those and these are comparable. Thing is the Deion’s are only $170 and going for less than retail. These look great in pictures but they don’t feel great in hand.

time to place my order

lol I get you on that one and knew I was gonna get it for that but hell…for 220…we should get all the perks.

The real issues are tied to the price of these joints. It’s just another sign that they’re taking shortcuts on material and quality and charging the new standard.

If you want material quality you need to get out of Jordans entirely. They have never had quality materials for the price they charge.

We're paying $220 b/c that's what Nike charges, and not b/c it's superior in quality to any other sneakers on the market, but just b/c that's what the market will bare. Looking for value based on quality vs. cost is a fruitless exercise. The price shouldn't make us like or not like the shoe more or less. We're paying for the brand and legacy, not for the quality or tech.

I got rid of my '18s b/c although I enjoyed wearing them, they never really looked quite right and felt a bit bulky. I would have kept them if these weren't coming out as they're more than acceptable. I just knew this release would be way better.

I'm really enjoying the WCs and FRs with the updated shape and the thinner padding. If I can get these '24s I'll enjoy them that much more. Hopefully I get a good shape as that seems to vary from freak'n amazing to pretty pathetic (mostly the boxy vs. sleek toe box and EP height. Took me 3 pairs of the WCs to get the perfect one; not looking to do that this time around.

Why no retailers dropping these yet? Nike can’t keep unloading their stock early and expecting them to wait and get stuck with them.

I was wrong on my first assessment. I don't see these sitting, but I also don't see them going for anything resell wise. Will probably be a bunch of restocks from people returning pairs/mix matching to get the elephant print that they want.

Stores are currently unloading pairs on resale platforms. They must be flooded. This model from Nike isn’t sustainable.

Were you this upset when Nike charged $200 in 2018 for the Jordan 3 Steel Toes?
