The 3 sole was never specific to the 3. It came on several different kicks in the 80's like the Revolution and Ace.

They remind me of the Air Ace and look like they could have come out in the 80's

I'm going to reiterate that these are another one of those types of shoes from Jordan Brand that should be priced at well under $100 for affordability purposes.

It never made sense that stuff like this and other similar offshoot models from the brand cost over $100.

Like my good friend said in the late '90s, around the time Jordan Brand got spun off from Nike, that they should make an inexpensive line to cater to families who cannot afford the pricier signature models.

These do not warrant a retail value anywhere near $100.
