local store here in cincy had a thing starting wednesday where you walk in prepay for the shoes to reserve your size. they gave me a gift card and said come back saturday 8-12 to pick up.

Local DTLR/Villas were asking for a $10 Toy for a reservation. Got there early enough to have my size locked down, trying to get a toddler pair for my God Son but they’re FCFS. Never thought I’d see the day toddler pairs would cost as much as pre-school ($75 with tax)!

Much respect to all the fathers in here who take their kids with them to pick up shoes and grab them a pair. When I have my first kid (God willing) I definitely want to be able to do the same, I will probably wait until he/she is at least 12 or 13 before I start buying them $170 + retros though with the way JB his pricing these shoes. Gotta wait until that foot growth slow down a bit, and they don't have recess everyday to beat them up.
