Nah.. keep that slide out garbage. I hated that since day 1 lol and takes forever to pull out kicks and wear em. I love the OG box but if you got the Shadow X's you know its fragile. It's the shoe that must stay at the top of the stack.

OG III boxes arent that great either.

Thank god for Container Store. I was never with the ****s in regards to the slide out gimmick boxes.

Those cool blue hue shots are different. Im seeing two different shoes. I prefer the slightly higher PL OG look in the tagged pics to the 01 mid PL look in the cool hue pics.

I want to go TTS(10). Hopefully I win in my size. I won one 9.5 in the shadow 1s after over a dozen raffles.

My 2009 jams were 10.5. I forgot how they fit tho

They’ll probably fit the same as SJ and Win likes. Imo I would go TTS. I doubled up on Space Jams (half size up and TTS), and half size up was too big.

Imagine if Jordan Brand did all their retros like this. Not 100%, but 90% accuracy. The Black Cement 3, Shadow 1, even the Grape 5, and Black Toe 13 looked so different from the OGs.

Interesting. On the retro box, the Jumpman is behind the lettering. On the original, the Jumpman is in front. Never noticed that small detail til now.

Call it nitpicking if you want but something about the back of this shoe has been bothering me. After homie post that pic earlier of the back of these new joints next to the Jams, I had to go home and investigate.

The PL was wider in the back on the OG, the part of the liner with the 23 on it was also a little wider than what we have been getting. The over all shape of the heel was a lot more strait but it still had a very slight curve to it. When the first retros dropped that curve got a lot more pronounced and they have been similar to that ever since ( I honestly like the curve on the first retros a little better). The PL though was still kind of wide in the back which is the look they are trying to copy with these new Concords. They got the width of the patent leather correct but they went overboard on how straight they made the back of the shoe and definitely F’d up the width of the part of the liner with the “45” on it. The liner part with the 45 is the detail that’s really bothering me honestly. It just looks off.

The "Air Jordan" font, is different, and smaller too. I remember someone pointing the same thing out, in the "Shadow" 10 thread.​

I really believe there are going to be so many of these made in many different Nike Factories that there will be a few variations of this shoe. I expect to see a lot of subtle differences in them when people start posting up pics after release. We will see.

I took another look at your pics, and you’re right. It almost looks squared off instead of round. It is straight too. I like the curve from the 2000, but idk. That’s what I mean by almost 100%. I don’t think they’re ever going to go angle for angle, cut for cut, width for width.

Yeah, I just couldn’t put my finger on what was bothering me about the back of the shoe. With all that said though I’m still extremely happy with the shoe overall. They mostly got the shape and the PL cut spot on. I’m in for at least 1 pair.
