For me it depends on how the sole looks. My 06 pair was freshened up so I’m good.

Expecting these to be potentially the largest produced GR ever. If the leather is smooth and there isn’t eyelet letters I’m all over these. These are the best 11s and bring back memories of that DMP chaos back in 06

One thing that I don't like about these being leather is that they are going to look weird when the mesh eyelets turn yellow.

Well it's something different! I wouldn't be surprised if they release all the og colorways with leather uppers in the future just to change up the retros.

As opposed to the whole 1/3rd of the ballistic nylon part yellowing of the OG concords?
I’d much prefer full leather of these tbh.

Yeah I guess it's an ocd thing that's why it somewhat bothers me lol.The thing is I hope the leather is half way decent because generally the small amount of leather that is put around the heel area is pretty stiff. With the past few releases, I feel the only 11 that had soft leather around the heel was the 2018 Concords so hopefully something similar to that they put on the whole upper of these.

if you want to see how these age just look at 2019 snake skin lows. If they’re not a shoe you’re going to turn into a beater you’ll be fine

That’s not the minority. At least I don’t think it is. The mesh has always been one of my favorite features, all the way back to ‘95. I hate most leather XI mids.

I feel the mesh makes the 11s stand out more since most Jordan retros already have leather uppers.

Defining moment is like an achievement/legacy type thing. I like the leather making it feel as if it’s premium even though we know it’s not if that makes any sense lol.

People who like the ballistic mesh more than leather are the people who don’t wear their 11s. Lol. Seriously, have you ever tried to clean your Concords after heavy use? Especially if you ball in them? It sucks.
