Curious if the plan is to release on the 21st, just like the original pack was in 2007.

I spoke to a rep at ShoePalace and he said these look to be a Niketown-Only physical release, randomnly dropping sometime next month. Also question for the LA NTer's, the Niketown that was on Wilshire moved to the Grove right?

If it's randomly dropping I see no reason for it not to be a QS, I'm sure the numbers will be high but they just don't feel the need to hype it up. I agree with the niche since the BM pack was loved and hated, I'm more curious as how the box is going to look.Wait, so these are a straight up QS?
Guess it makes sense. Not a color many people would want to pick up and wear. Very niche.

Edit: nevermind its just a black box with the gold jumpman
it's in Japanese but he compares both variations and gives a nice detailed look.Pics?
LOL it's pretty niche in the sense of who likes it
I don't think this will be a niche shoe. Seems very popular on IG as well. I think people are looking to cop as they now don't have to be bought in a pack. From what I have heard this would be planned as a normal release, not a Jordan calendar release items, but a larger release at retailers. Not sure about online yet.

1. It's a mid with Jumpman branding
2. Not an OG colorway
3. Even DS the resale for New Loves has never been high, you can get a DS pair for probably $150-175 (SZ 9.5 most common size)
4. The pack to begin with had very mixed reviews, with most people only copping for the sole reason of wearing the Blacktoes while the New Loves were unworn and resold.
But overall 1s have became trendy which is funny, but I doubt it'll sellout.
generally i agree with this, but if theres any 1 mid thatll break the mold its definitely these ones.

Seems like there is a demand though, and seems pretty favorably liked on IG. I don't own any mids, have about 6 different ones, but the majority was not a mayor release either, or necessarily with huge value besides some of the more classic ones. But I like this one, and think it would make for a good beater, with it being a mid.

this drop is fan service. nike isnt dropping these to draw in the general public.Let's be real here. This model cannot possibly be a GR or made in mass number. We will NOT see this available for the entire family either.
It's a very "loud" color scheme and the general public will not have an interest for these. Now, if you made them a QS with limited numbers, they will sell out FAST!
Some noob always asks why I have the black/white and shadow 1s with a jumpman. They don't understand that the jumpman was the norm post 2001-2013. You wouldnt own any of the many OGs dropped during that time if you were anti jumpman. Easiest way to spot a post 2013 sneaker buyer.this drop is fan service. nike isnt dropping these to draw in the general public.
at the end of the day these were great back in 07 when i had them and id like to have them again. jumpman didnt bother me then and doesnt now, especially considering the fact that you couldnt by ones in this era without a jumpman
I get **** on alot for wearing my '13 Chis, but I got them for retail same with alot of other 1s in my collection. Yeah the quality wasn't the greatest, but it's still a decent shoe being one of the most iconic silhouettes, same with my '09 DMP Bulls, or Old Loves. Some noob always asks why I have the black/white and shadow 1s with a jumpman. From several more trusted IG people, folks who are really deeply into the 1s, this will be a GR release, as the SKU was not coded to be a limited release, as we have seen with other releases. Retailers apparently are going to be able to order this in whatever quantities they please. That's what the word is, reality may prove to be different.Let's be real here.
