The eggplants were a 'general' release in that a whole lot of mainstream stores got them, which means that a whole lot of them must have been produced, and do remember that this is a $200 shoe. besides collectors, who would buy these? and, are there really enough collectors to buy out every footlocker/footaction/etc? I like them, I want them, but I'm honestly very surprised that they're no where to be found.
You contradict yourself.....smh

You make ZERO sense.

They are out there. Nike Outlet had the royal blues, cats were re-selling them on ebay and other forums.

I am very happy that they made this colorway a general release. Everything doesnt have to be limited, overall this is a solid shoe. Nike did a great job withthis one.

the eggplants were definitely a success. the reason why there are still some pairs lying around is coz mom and pop shops are trying to charge$250 plus for a pair and due to the fact we are in a recession. the royals were still available in some areas when those released also if you looked hardenough..so what are you trying to say? anyone who had money to spare copped these whether they were a "collector" or not.

on top of that..the royals were a QS..so people were hustlin to find em. the eggplants on the other hand..had a lot of people prepared for them. so how canyou say this release was a failure? tell you what..find me size 10s or 10.5s right now for retail..then you can tell me the release was a flop.

I haven't even seen them anywhere and they are sold out onine.

had no problem reselling all my pairs, if anything I should have waited to make more $

oh yea, apparently this one store around here still got some left but charging $250

I literally just picked up another pair here in MI. I got the last big size though, sz 10. Already got a sz 10.5 to wear. If someone needs a smaller size andlives in Michigan, PM me
