ok so 500s came in today. initial thoughts...

1. whoever said to go .5 up was right!
2. these look alot better in hand than online
3. quality is top notch
4. these look like a damn loaf of bread on foot :nerd:
5. if u thought 700s were too bulky, run far away from these!
6. 700s were THE most comfy yeezys up until now!
7. 500 is FUGLY, yet a beautiful work of art at the same damn time
8. 500 is the KING of dad shoes...

:nerd:

Looks like we're all over the place on sizing.

UPS man delivered both my pre-order (my TTS 11) and my release (0.5 up) pears today, and, for me at least, these are TTS all the way. The 11.5's were too big. I'll see how they look in shorts later, but in my (non-skinny) jeans, they don't look obnoxiously large.

They're not ridiculously comfortable, but ok.

Will keep 1 pair to wear, and send the 11.5 down the road (eventually).

Rocked my 500s today. Went TTS but wish I had gone .5 up since its bit snug on my left foot. Still manageable though. I still think 700s are the most comfy imo.

More of a “dad” shoe than the wave runners for sure
Definitely not imo. I wouldn’t even call the 500’s a dad shoe tbh. No ”typical Air Monarch dad” would even wear them. The 700’s on the other hand would probably fit much better in that aesthetic.

YS pre-order pair came in today. As mentioned numerous times already, the quality is very nice and the color of the shoe is :smokin.

With that said, the 500's are a one-and-done model for me. Don't need any other cw's. Need every pair of 700's that's coming out tho. :nerd:

I wish I had peeped this thread. I range 9.5 - 10 in Jordans / Nikes so I went for a 10 in the 500. Oops, width was okay but my toe was hitting the end / top of shoe. My coworker copped 10.5s, asked him to bring his in so I could try. They fit way better. I'd say go up .5 if you're concerned, shud have listened to my gut telling me to go 10.5 from the get go!!

So, based on this thread, in terms of Adidas Yeezy models' comfort:

700s > 350 V2s > 350 V1s > Yeezy 500s > 750s > PP

Does this seem accurate?

You should have seen the reaction of the non shoe head people in our office looking at the shoes and repeatedly asking... wait, you paid $300 for those??? Me and coworker both dying in laughter
