I’d say no way. Tech fleece easily a size up from the Calabasas.

I keep hearing tts is the way to go. The pants are built differently and have a draw string waist opposed to the og black/maroon pair was made bigger without a draw string.

I feel like it has been said but the appeal for me in the 700 was the wave runners. The chunky appeal that was still sleek with colorblocking that struck vintage cords. The pops of color with the neon laces...they are a great great design.

Now when you mute that like the salt 700s you lose a lot IMO. And the 700 v2 is even worse because it loses a lot of the "still young" appeal. It went FULL dad shoe. If i wanted to go full dad shoe id just buy monarchs on sale for $50. The high price point (again, IMO) demands some sort of uniqueness.

That being said....ALL IN for iniertias and all out for all the clear stripe v2s and 700 v2s.

IMO, the one thing that would've made the Salt 700's pop, is if they added some color to the ovals in the midsole. Even the same lime green that is on the Mauves, would've looked dope with that grey upper.

I will never take interest in any shoe with a see-through cutout. Regardless of colorway, it will always be tacky to me. Just my opinion and why I will be passing.

Grey is dope but I’ve seen a dope grey shoe 1000 times. Nobody has a pair in their closet like these clays.
