LOL these look like something you would find at Walmart, the Yeezys have so much more swagg tho

Wasn't it said earlier in the year that the 750 model was scrapped due to production issues? I might be wrong but was't that mentioned?

That's why they ended up being so limited due to them releasing less than the planned amount.

I also wonder if the Zipper issue has something to do with it as well.

i hope not, the 750's have a very clean look to them. would not mind owning a pair. at retail tho

These Black low tops coming out look like a nice water shoe. But if I dont get them I dont think I will pay over retail for these. It would probably be an outlandish price anyway.
Was thinkin' the sameee thingg.... making me even more bummed on not having the turtles.

I'm confused as to how this isn't a GR. Judging by the store list, the amount of stores getting these are even more than Jordan retros. But then again the key may be the kind of release these stores are participating in, such as in store only not online etc. In store raffles easily eliminate the bots but if every store is only going to get a few pairs then that defeats the purpose. They keep making these shoes harder to cop unfortunately.

It's all based on the quantity. If every FTL in the country got them, but only received 1 pair, I don't think anyone would still consider it a GR.

app was updated last night actually. Looks like its still just NY, CHI, and LA for the app.

From a business and revenue perspective it makes no sense. I guess I'm just salty because there are no Adidas Consortium / Originals store in my area, the nearest one is 4 hours away. So I'm just hoping my local FTL/FA/FNL carry these.

Okay, I need your opinions. Do these look big on me? I had a size 7 before, but they fit a bit snug even with thin socks, and I wanted a little more room. These are a size 8 and fit okay with thicker socks, but I don't want them looking like clown shoes. I wear a 9 in women's btw, and a 7.5 in mens.
*And yes, I am standing on a table.

I think these fit you right. It's weird I wear a 9.5 in Superstars and if that wasn't available I'd size down to a 9. But these look good.

If you didn't already get rid of your 7 I'd probably stick with them. I prefer a snug fit on these as opposed to them being loose or having extra toebox room.

how doesn't it make sense though? by keeping it somewhat limited, they'll still sell out. So that eliminates the chances of it sitting on shelves and possibly going on sale/discount/outlet which minimizes profit. Keep them somewhat limited, those who missed out will want the next thing they drop. Generating the hyper for the next item and keep them coming back for more or for their first taste. Eventually they'll be able to sell any crap. Chances are people who missed out out both the 350 will try and cop the 950 even though they are ugly to 98% of the world. Nikes been doing this scheme for years. Its a smart move if you think about it.

I feel like the hype around the black pair is similar to the turtledoves: long list of retailers gave hope to ppl thinking theres gonna be a large enough quantity that meets demand, but comes up short due to all these stores having limited pairs available or backdooring them during raffles

People are talking numbers and how they aren't limited but the majority of you dudes are still going to strike out.

I have made hypebeast purchases in the past but 950s are a no go LOL. I look at it a little different, in the US people don't gravitate to the 3 stripes as they do to Nike / Jordan Brand. People are all over this due to the Yeezy affiliation, so I would think Adidas would want to capitalize on that with any opportunity they can get. I agree with you on they're probably just releasing the shoes in small amounts so people who miss out can buy their future collabs. Kanye himself said he didn't want to play this sneaker culture resell game and everyone who actually wants a pair will get their hands on it, that doesn't seem to be the case though.

yup. And majority of the people calling this a "GR" are just looking at the list of stores and not the actual quantity available to the public.

Do we have somebody with "IT skills" that is looking for a pair from Europe? please PM

yeah but what kanye says/wants =/= to what adidas wants or is/will do. Kanye is also very contradicting. Talking about hating the resell game and wanting his shoe to be no part of it. Then turn around and boast his sneaker resell value on the market in his music. Like..

Ugh..... The GR vs Limited convo. Just treat it like any other hype release and go all out......

Side note I always find it funny when someone gets 25 plus tixs doesn't win and assumes that the whole world was against them and backdoored all their pairs.

Then in the next post dude with 1 tix wins.

Keep ur head cool guys increasing the number of tixs in a limited pool for one size does still mean u can still lose its not like u put in 20 plus tixs for each size.

With that said think about how u plan to use ur time and resources going into this.

Also, I recommend taking a drive or trip to ur closest Adidas store couple of people I know including me hit from them and I assume they will have a large supply!!! Compared to other retailers.
