I actually was waiting to see if the UB went down in price before I pulled the trigger on Energy Boost but too bad now. I'll try and see what else I can get before the Kanye hype touches it. I'm a Kanye fan but I'm just sick of this hype ****.

I actually like the shoe so I wasn't planning on reselling. And Nike is the worst for this, and I know it wont make a difference but I don't want to be a part of making Adidas into the same monster thinking that these super limited exclusives are how they bring customers in.

Adidas thought the buzz of Kanye West signing to Adidas, alone, would be enough to raise sales.
They thought the thirst for the Yeezy Boost would trickle down to their other products, but it didn't.
You have to let people eat first so they can see that the quality is good, so that they can see you have products.
You can't just dangle that exclusive product out of reach to the average consumer and think that will be enough.

I never stated anything as fact, but it is a fact that Adidas thought the Kanye buzz would make their products fly off store shelves and that didn't happen.
Brand awareness is the sole reason why companies do exclusive deals. Did you think they signed Kanye because they care about you and your hurt feelings?
Why you so mad and attacking people because their opinion differs from yours?
Adidas is not even number 2 in the USA market so the population has spoken and they seem to agree with me.

Since the launch of the Yeezy, Adidas' Market Cap has grown by approx. 1.5Billion. In that same time frame, Nike's Market Cap has grown by 6Billion and Under Armour by about 700M.
The gap between Adidas and Nike is growing even with Yeezy being with the 3 stripes

Better compared to what though? They made more money sure, but UA is catching up from behind and Nike is pulling ahead in front. Missed opportunity the way they played this release.
