I see your point. It is the same old argument.
I mean, I think the correct way to say it is that "customs" and homages are quite different from either "real" pairs or the fakes trying to pass as real. Everyone knows the snakeskin makeups up top aren't a Nike release. Same with the Hender Scheme "Jordans" and other homages they do:
There's a different between someone saying "this is my homage to an iconic design" and someone who goes on shady Chinese websites that have poor enough english skills to name their stuff "super duper perfect 100% time quality" and wears them out as if they WERE the real thing.
You just proved my point without realizing it. Repped
It's a shoe, buy and wear yours, people buy and wear theirs.
yes people here are enthusiasts, but theres no commandments,
theres no thou shalt not resell if thou thinks the shoes are ugly as ****.
End of the day princples are your own.
The rules here are not discuss fakes so honor that, however regardless of what loop holes or logic you try to use customs aren't fake, because you need to be a replica of something to replicate it. So customs, are fine there are threads here and posts where people share them, there are reddits adn sites to discuss fakes elsewhere.
Ya'll need to discuss these yeezys.
lol great way to change this fake, replica nonsense etc. Face it dudes my great grandfathers father had to deal with fakes, its here stay and people will continue to buy. Stop worrying about what the next man is doing and go spend that used car money on some authentics if it helps your sleep better.Soooooo when are the black Yeezy boosts dropping? any news?
id like to see more pics but IMO they are legitFam - need help LC these. Toebox shape, color and stitch all look decent. Strap shows 3 stripes and gap to Velcro on one but not the other? Or is it the angle for those who have pairs in hand?
Any help appreciated!
when anything becomes main stream it changes and usually not for the good for the people that were around before the height. I'm 32 years old and have been wearing/buying jordans since the original 6's came out and when they weren't called GS when the kids version were called SKY jordan (bet you didn't know that). so I've been doing this a long time and the way i feel right now is this game is filled with posers and wanna be's who want to fit in or be cool bc its the new IT thingThe game done changed man. craxy.
same people who would spend 2000 on boosts and be taking the bus and trainI swear if some of you had the option to trade ya moms for a pair you'd do it. Smh.
nah i love my motherI swear if some of you had the option to trade ya moms for a pair you'd do it. Smh.
I spent 1.4k on my pair and my car is paid off.
same people who would spend 2000 on boosts and be taking the bus and train
Compare apples to apples when you try to call me out.
and for the people calling customs fakes, i mean we are getting a little crazy now. if you put rims on your car, tint your car does it make it a fake car now?????
dank took my WTK9 highs and made them lows so are they fakes now?
Compare apples to apples when you try to call me out.
At least make a decent argument.
How would putting rims and tinting windows make the car fake?
All the mechanical parts that make up the car are still there.
the style of rims and tires are optional accessories. This would equate to lace swapping.
When you deconstruct a sneaker and rebuild it with completely different materials how is it not fake?
The only thing that remains factory original is the the sole and possibly the insoles.
So if I sent a pair of Yeezy Boost to JBFCustoms and said deconstruct these and rebuild them with deer hide
how is that any different than a replica. Both the customizer and the replica company use the exact same process
to accomplish the task. The only difference in how YOU choose to perceive the situation because
both customs and replicas are made from an authorized deconstructed shoe.
This is why I cast shade on both even though one is considered legal.
How you see things is your choice though because I'm not here to sway opinons.
No.
dank took my WTK9 highs and made them lows so are they fakes now?
You deflected.
i think you are thinking about this way too hard. its just sneakers and if they take them apart and put them back together who gives a **** they are creating something thats why its custom. some people want to be different thats why they go that route, they don't want to be like everyone else who all wear the same ****
IMO customs are getting crazy. who cares about shark skin and ostrich and all this other nonsense on sneakers.
