Yes. Not about to sell my 14 pairs to some kids with a week to burn looking for a come up when I know the regulars that keep my lights on. Families buying shoes could care less and will probably never even hear about my 14 pair fiasco; They are the other chunk of business.
Resellers have likely never been and will likely never return, not about to cater to them.
Have a joint that looks out for their own and they conduct plenty of business outside of that.

but what happens if your regular customers are the resellers? Your method is just a broader view of relationship building for backdoor pairs. Then people will call your shop shady and potential new customers that could have been regulars won't come to your store. And your vicious cycle of only selling to old regular customers who know they have that connect at your store and grab the limited releases to resell it anyway.

not trying to start an argument, but was just providing an alternative view as somebody from the outside looking in. Yeah it's sweet if you yourself was a regular and got that relationship built up with the store, and now you don't want any newcomers to get equal chances as you when you've been investing all your money at this shop.
