We need an entire thread on sizing. So many people with questions and not enough specific information..

Things that would need to be considered in the thread

-Overall estimate size of the shoe. TTS? 0.5 too big?

-Measurements of the length and width of the shoe and insole for each size.

-With seasons changing so does the sizing. Does it run larger this season? Smaller?

It would also help to have updated information at the beginning of the thread so people don't have to spend so much time looking how a particular shoe/size fits.

What do you guys think?
That would really help alot of the folks out there (myself included).

It would also be helpful and more insightful if someone elaborates on how exactly the fit is with them when someone says that they went TTS.

Like, does the TTS fit them with ample toe room (about 1/4 to half an inch of space from the toes to the front of the shoe)? Or did it have little to no space from the toes to the front of the shoe when they went TTS?  I personally find this confusing because I know people have different preferences on how a shoe should feel on their foot. Some people doesn't like any extra room between the toes and the front of the shoe. While others want about at least a finger or thumbs space between the toes and the front of the shoe to allow their toes to breathe. Which makes someones definition of a TTS fit for him different from another and create more confusion.

I have 4 pairs of Adidas shoes, the only ones that fit TTS are pure boosts.  Flux, Rose, and these all fit a half size bigger, the no half sizes is probably a reason for the all the questions.

One dude says he went TTS and they fit perfect and in my mind there's no way on earth that's possible. I have zero tolerance for shoes that fit big and these would drive me insane if I got them TTS. Maybe he can handle or even prefers much more room in his shoes than I can.

The problem is that sizing is subjective. I'd say the only thing that would work would be taking the measurements but it's so cumbersome that many wouldn't do it. The most likely scenario is that people are going to see what the overall response is on sizing and make a move from there but as far as a concrete and 100% reliable solution I just don't see it.

I understand that sizing is subjective and because of that it would most likely lead to people giving out bad advice and then.. chaos. So the most accurate way to find out whether a size fits bigger or not is to measure the length and width of the insole. This way, you can measure your own feet and figure out the correct size to buy. But like thegameofsoles was saying, people would probably find it bothersome having to spend time measuring the different parts of a shoe.

The best solution is what I mentioned earlier about measuring your feet. Niketalk probably has hundreds of members visiting in and out a day. Since those hundreds of people have different feet sizes (width & length), and a handful will roughly wear the same size, all we need is one person from each size group to sacrifice 5 minutes of their time to find the measurements and post it online.

Regarding how the shoe fits people can just add a side note saying they like wearing a shoe with more or less space, which can be taken with a grain of salt as long as the measurements are posted.

It's possible!

Exactly. That's why I suggest for people to to first define how TTS fits for them when talking about a fit. Does their true to size have little to no toe room? Or does it have 1/4 to half an inch of space? So that when someone mentions that going TTS fits perfect for them, the others can intelligently guess and have a general idea on what size to pick when buying because people have a clear idea of how the shoe fits on how the person who went TTS prefers the fit on him.

Here is the sizing chart for all the shoes I own. I would say my TTS is an 8. There is no way I could fit a size 7 Yeezy 350 Boost. A 7.5 would have been perfect if they had it.

Wow, what a basis for a relationship if you have to wear a special kind of shoe to not get instantly DQed..

Most girls/women don´t care. Sure, dress for the occasion and don´t try to look sloppy but if she requires dress shoes to a normal date then she´s probably looking for a sugar daddy more then a boyfriend. I know plenty of women 25+ that would be weirded out if their date arrived to a casual date in a suite or too dressed up.

Excellent chart and kudos on an overall diverse shoe taste.

I say our sizes are similar with my foot prob measuring a tad bigger. So Im assuming size 7 is a reach for me

Here is a breakdown for myself:

Nike:

10.5 (snug)

11 (TTS)

11.5 (Loose but will do in a worse case scenario)

Adidas:

10.5 (TTS) in everything except UltraBoost which are snug at that size and I need my TTS for those

So For 350:

10 Fits great witn no socks - / fits snug with thin socks but still very comfy and my preference

11 Fits loose like a 11.5 with no socks - / fits great with normal/thick socks

So for me and majority of people I know who have the shoes:

If your a half size or a true full size =  you can size down (unless you have really wide or fat feet). A TTS would also work however it would be loose with no socks but you could pull it off with socks.

If you are a true full size and in some shoes go up have like the person above = stick to your TTS full size.

The person above ranged from 7.5-8.5 however majority was 8-8.5 so a size 8 would be ideal.

In your case, you would need a 8. The size 7 would be too tight because you even fit in a 8.5 based on your reply.

clearly. thats why i think 950 = said comparison in here is stupid

out of curiosity, do you consider primeknit a luxurious material?
nowhere in that post did i say that primeknit was a luxury material. I said 350 feels more luxurious than the roshe. Mostly due to the heftier feeling of the shoe, the lacing system, the leather ankle lining, etc...

So im trying to trade me Boosts for Just Dons and the person im doing to do the trade with is really trying to push these DB 8s on me. It's not a even trade is it?
