Damn 700, I wouldn't even spend that on Nikes :lol I'd buy another gun with that money. But hey if you want it bad enough...

I almost closed on a deal @ $850 but pulled back because THAT seems like too much, I know, f logic right?...$700 was less of a blow, I damn near bought a pair off someones feet in Canada for $1000 Canadian dollars last weekend

The only thing that matters in the end is that you're happy with your purchase which I'm sure you are. I'm actually starting to like them more becuase of how the collar of the shoe is loose around the ankle (for most people :rollin)... not enough to actually buy or wear a pair, but they're cool unlike those garbage 750s. I've always liked the black 350s since they were shown during that fashion show.

Thanks man, yea I can't wait to break these out...they're pretty cool, I am happy with as you said :smokin

People don't realize in this thread that 700$ means differently from one person to another. Are you over paying, yes of course. Who cares though if 700$ isn't a lot of money to you. The real sucker is the guy that has 2k in the bank and pays retail for them.

I couldn't wait to do a legit check on a pair I got for $600 last night. Had the seller send me an invoice and I made payment right away and asked the seller to take the auction down. Here are the pics. The funny thing is the seller offered to sell them to me for $600 and all I asked for were additional pictures :lol

The additional price tag is legit. A local guy got 4 paris from FNL, they all had extra tags with $199.99 on it and came with the same type of receipt.

How is the guy with 2k in the bank a sucker? If he grabs them for retail, $200+ tax (if applicable).

jak92492 jak92492 comparing those to my pairs, I'm saying legit! The soles should be all white. I didn't understand why people were telling me until I got my pair in my hands. It is because of the flash. Get a picture of the size tag and underneath the insoles.

What does this even mean?

It doesn't get much better. Can't believe the rest of the country hasn't caught up yet. Dispensary I work for has won a few high times cannabis cup awards. Long gone are the times when you get locked up for a few grams of marijuana.
Just moved to Denver 2 months ago - best decision I've made in awhile... On a related note.. I haven't found any good kicks spots yet. Only one I have found is Division West... Am I missing something?

Ok let me explain for you guys. If you spent 225$ on yeezys and you have 2k in the bank you spent roughly 1/8 of the money you have. Compare that to someone with 100k that spent 700$. Very simple come on guys.

Gotta check out explicit streetware in boulder/Aurora or sneakindahouse aka sneaks off Broadway. It's in the basement of another store. Took me forever to find that. Check their Twitter. There's also sole st. Shoes off 16th street mall. Family affair off larimer downtown as well does consignment but has a pretty good selection but mainly I go there for clothes. That's where all the nuggets players go to shop around here. Denver is def lacking. I cop most of my shoes online here in Denver. They need to step their game up for sure

lol i scooped 2 pairs for 700 and it didnt mean **** to my bank account. Less time trolling forums = more time getting an engineering/law/medical degree.

OK, I can understand your math.

However, what if the 2k was absolute disposable income? Should they not buy any of their (wants) if it cost 1/8 of this disposable income? People have to enjoy the fruits of their labor once in a while because some people will never have 100k in the bank and their still happy with life. Remember, you can't take the money with you when you die.

OR

What if the 2k was absolute disposable income? The person pays $225 retail for the Yeezy with the intentions to resell. With resell prices being $700-800 on average, they stand to make a profit of $375-475, which is roughly a 167-211%. Therefore, increasing the persons bank account balance from 2k to $2,375-$2,475, ONE STEP CLOSER to reaching 100k.

Again, your opinion is noted. However, it varies depending on the circumstances.

It's more than that though. For instance, I make 6 figures but I wouldn't pay $700 for these because they are way over retail now and I try to pay below retail on 95% of my shoes. But I also don't wear Nikes and Adidas so I don't run into this situation of having the shoes I want being sold in limited pairs. I prefer Balenciaga's, YSL and Burberry sneakers and I try not to pay retail for those either. I sound like a label ***** but I really like the 750's and it didn't matter to me that these were Adidas, but I'm a woman and I'm not going to pay $6,000 for a size 6 when I can pick up a pair of suede Prada high top sneakers for $180, which is exactly what I did instead of buying the 750's. It's all about what you feel things are worth. But I think there is a misconception that if you don't want to pay resale you're broke which is not true.

See but thats the thing, I would 't buy Balenciagas or anything like that because it's not worth $1k+ to me...I know they are high end and all, but even when my girl buys $4-$500 MK bags I'm like [emoji]128559[/emoji], everyone has their vices...this dude was telling me he spent nearly $2K on some special box of cigars and I told him "ain't you just gonna smoke it up?" Lol

Edit: everyone has their vices, what we justify spending money on is different, I don't eat out, and theres people buying $300 bottles of wine, or vacactions, or electronics...the great part about it is when we are lucky enough to be able to attain what we desire...

How one spends their money is their own business, period.

That said, seems like a lot of people have champagne taste on a beer budget.
