Seems that way... How far in advance does ADC load their stock? I guess one could develop a better game plan and go for the higher stocked sizes.

You can add OOS sizes on ADC but when you go through the steps it only notifies you when you go to checkout. IF you go back it drops you back in the queue. You can plan based on the inventory checker of which size to go for as it is still in stock.

This. It's a great tool to check when Yeezy drops happen. Would've saved me the headache for a few past drops!
