Coworker just told me he got a great deal on TDs and spent $600 on a DS pair off eBay. He showed me pics but I dont have the heart to tell em they are fugazi.
Yikes. If I was the guy getting scammed then I would want to know... he can still get his money back. $600 for fakes is pretty ridic.

I agree.

A guy at the gym the other day asked me if his yeezys PB were real (a friend of mine told him I knew about sneakers and what not) and after him giving me this long story about his sisters bf's cousin's mom's nephew works at an adidas warehouse and gets yeezys for free for working there, he got 2 pairs for 200 each.

That was a dead giveaway. Anyways I looked at them and could tell they were off, but the boost looked like white rock candy. I just let the dude know that they weren't authentic. He was like, but you can't tell unless you're super close or look at the bottom, right? I just told him yea and to enjoy.

Sounds like he knew they were fake before he asked you and he just wanted to see if anyone could tell lol.

By not telling people they bought fakes, you're just letting the scammers get away with it and continue to do it.

Yea, I pretty much gathered that.

But would any of those fakes actually fool anyone? My coworker isnt a sneaker enthusiast at all so not surprised they got em.

I just did some reasearch on the current fakes available, and I must say, they're quite poor—at least relative to the amount they cost. They're all misshaped with patterns that are extremely off.

I still would like to know the fool who would pay $200 dollars for a fake shoe, knowing it's fake.

If people are knowingly buying fakes to try to exude some false impression/appearance, they got problems.

it happens everyday, knowingly paying bread(ofen more than legit retail) on quality fakes to try & finesse someone.

this aint nothing new. white folks spend their money on fake luxury brands (i.e. Michael Kors, Coach, Vineyard Vines), while folks in the hood spend money on fake everything (belts, wallets, jeans, Jordans, Yeezys)

while asians just out there making the fake stuff, making bread, and dropping it on the real stuff (Lexus, college tuition, houses, Yeezys).

I see a ton of other people besides white folks copping fake Michael Kors etc.
