Yeah now im thinking its 2 pieces thats stitched on top of your toes and under that strip in the sold. Pretty durable IMO.

But then it is glued to the sole? Seems like the only stitching is at the heel?
Maybe there is stitching somewhere further in the front of the shoe as well.

The whole upper is two pieces that are woven together. The prime knit is then glued to the boost sole then the rubber outsole.
