Lightweight shoes are NOT the answer. The things cause problems. Look for shoes with arch/ankle support, a locked-in feel, and cushioning. All that Crazy Light, Crazy Shadow stuff are gimmicks and frankly problems waiting to happen.


With that said the Kevin Ware injury had nothing to do with his shoes imo just a freak accident. I'm sure he's closed out on shooters thousands of times. I'm more concerned about that raised court possibly throwing off his perception

imo the weight of the shoe has NO effect on the support of it. There are plenty of light shoes with great support. The more concerning shoes are the lows like the kobes.
