Yeah you can see them from the inside of the shoe as well, through the holes in the built-in insole.

Yeah, the circle knit runs closer to the PK sizing than the mesh. I went .5 down from TTS, and a full size down from what I wear in UBs and they fit fine with the thin socks I wear. Snug, but not in a 'grip your foot' way like the UB. If you want a bit of extra room, go TTS, but definitely no need so size up like with the mesh.
