Regarding the Bapes at the NYC Soho store...
1) That definitely looks like the Soho store to me, having been there a bunch of times.
2) That does NOT look like a pic taken when it is open. No one in that pic at all, and that store is always packed with people. -Much less anyone ignoring the Bape shoes that happen to be sitting there.
My guess is they got them, an employee took this pic and maybe tweeted a few friends saying, "Meet me at the backdoor". Then they opened and said, "Everyone, feel free to browse our impressive collection of XR1s!"
-Just a guess, but that's my educated guess until I see people copping these.
