Clientid is just necessary to check stock numbers and depending on how it's released, no, it's not too late. You bypass those still waiting in the queue.

if everybody joins the "secret" group then how secret is it. not to mention how easy it is for a lurker to just post/pm to join it, you're not really keeping them out if everyone gets in.
