finally got Nice Kicks. thank you Kith. I've been refreshing that ******* site since I got home from camping out on Saturday. 

happy I got them but mad they told me they'd randomly drop on saturday. didn't sleep for longer than I'd care to admit to but worth it I guess? lol

I woke up every single day for the last few weeks checking my cart on nicekicks website, praying to catch a restock.

Uptown said there were mad people lining up outside the store on Saturday and mall security was trying to shake them down ---- ALLEGEDLY 

so... in an effort to not cause any problems they released the shoes w/o posting them to social media since the line was already cooked --- ALLEGEDLY 

the manager tried to refer to me to some other shop that was taxing for $260 on the yellow, which ends up being a good price, but that store had sold out already by the time he called them.

lots of funny business.

  SneakerboxClyde is somehow related to this store, he always seemed like a standup dude, although i only know of him through social media.  I am bummed to hear about this.  I find it hard to beleive that a store wouldnt allocate a certain number to website and then a certain number to in store to avoid any problems.  

Do stores not list out the size runs they have on their doors anymore for line ups?

No store has ever caved in to the idiots causing a scene outside lining up. If anything, they tell them to get out of there and try online.

The recipe is simple guys...sell a few pairs at retail to show face and work the rest thru the backdoor for resale....every boutique does it...some worse than others...but it happens at ALL of them....

lmao either way, these high celeb clientele shops just are worthless in investing much of your time or energy in. They almost all sell backdoor to their usual high prized customers.

nah man i be staying away from that kind of stuff....  i cant tolerate the kind of people that make those lines 

if I can't cop online or have someone at the store hold something for me, I don't go cop hyped releases in person

Well I can confirm that there was a long line at uptown as I was standing in it, but still I've never heard of having an online release and then refunding everyone. That would have made me mad as hell too. I didn't see any 'shakedowns' occurring however sizes went quick, By the time I got in most of the Nicekicks were gone and I got lucky and got my size in the yellows. I have personally never had a bad experience with Uptown. Now Lebron's store Unknwn which is in the same mall is a whole other story. They backdoor everything. LOL

entire time she's there, nothing I want drops 

soon as she quits.... then all the **** wanna start coming out smh...
