they fit small. whereas 350 can be worn 1/2 size down, UB is usually 1/2 size up.

8.5 or 9 depending how you like your fit. 8.5 will be really snug and 9 will be comfortable.

Any idea how long the black boost holds for before needing to repaint it?

Too many variables to give an accurate answer. If you only wear the shoe once week, obviously the paint would last longer than if you went hiking everyday in them.
