how much should I expect my UB's to stretch? (if any at all)

Mine are usually snug when I first put them on and gradually stretch as I'm walking around in them. If I wear them a couple days in a row they stay stretched out but if I go a week or so w/o wearing they get snug again.

Customs are looking real nice right here. How many times had you worn those all blacks w/ black sole when this pic had been taken?

Customs are nice but its abit of a pointless exercise. It won't last the Boost compound is too flexible for the paint not to crack. Unless you can dye the actual Boost these will need constant touchups/repairs.

I wear them daily so about 20-25 times? Only difference is that I didn't use Angelus, which cracks after you wear it. I would highly recommend NOT to use Angelus.

I have a few pairs I'm going to take into the Jason Markk store soon just to try them out, a couple of the pairs have some discoloring on the soles so I'll let you all know how it goes.
Looking forward to it. I'm not living in the states though, so i may just go ahead and paint the sucker.

Probably thin it with GAC and see if helps with durability.

Nice, seems to be holding up really well. What did you use instead of angelus?

WHAT is the difference between the core blacks and the black with silver. Im so confused.. My gf and i were talking about it. She says the logos are silver and the aglets. Can someone chime in..?

The core black S77417 and core black/silver S77511 are essentially the same colorway. Difference is, 77417 were released first and had standard non-wool primeknit material. 77511 were released later and has a wool primeknit material. One sure way to tell is that 77417 has a green torsion system and green insoles (more like volt). 77511 has a red torsion system and red insoles (more like fire red).

I ordered the first version of the core blacks over the summer from nordstroms and the insoles were black on those. Weird.

what color was the torsion system? maybe someone did the switcheroo for the insoles.

The insoles on my og core blacks are black too. My wool blacks have red insoles. Haven't seen the og core blacks w/ the volt/yellow insoles yet. The torsion system (the plastic tab in the middle of the outsole) seems to be the best way to tell the difference between the CWs so far.

Not sure if you answered this already, but I didn't see anything. What did you use?

Any idea where I can get the core blacks (wool or not) for retail or less?

Preferably shipping to Canada. Tried the local stores, no one has them online.

I actually didn't use Angelus for this. I used a light body opaque acrylic paint called Neoopaque by Jacquard. It is neither matte nor glossy--The shine you are seeing comes natural from the white boost material plus a massive amount of light shining in. If you look at this pic here you can see the boost material split horizontally into two parts divided by a line.. it's naturally glossy on the top section and more matte on the bottom section. I'm completely satisfied w/ the results.

I didn't want to use Angelus again because I used it before on an OG Chicago 1 project... The paint had a weird finish after it dried. However, with this Neoopaque stuff, it is extremely flexible when dried so it is more resistant to cracking.

they must have had 1 size run lol. I carted an 8.5 then I realized it was in UK sizes, removed it and went back and nothing was left
