If I still wanted to cop them as beaters, I'd let them know that I was aware of what they were actually selling & offer a more reasonable price for what you're actually purchasing. If they don't take the offer, well, money saved.

why cop fakes as beaters when you can pick up a VNDS pair for a little more? It may not be a desirable color but they would be legit. I've picked up several VNDS UBs between $100 and $120.

Exactly my point as well. I should've clarified. I personally wouldn't do it, but the struggle is real for some folks. Just saying if dude was seriously considering copping them, why pay at that price when they fugazis?

I got those. They have a textured leather cage with 3M stripes, a leather tongue, and semi shiny (think waxed laces) wool primeknit upper that includes the rear of the shoe too. They are real nice. Oh, they have leather insoles too.

Thanks. Without getting *too* technical, it's an in-camera effect, produced by the aperture settings for the lens + distance of subject (shoes) from background. (In this case, a shallow depth of field)

Those are the same shoes in both pics, just different filters and the top is men's while the bottom is womens, but both have already dropped. Only diff between the two is the heel counter.

This pic isn't as vignetted to hell and the material under the heel cup still looks grayish.

I'm not putting it past the HB pics to be overly filtered. But if this recent triple white 2.0 confusion from the blogs (prior to dropping) is any indicator, we won't really know until more concrete info is out I guess.
