There's a slight difference in the shade of black on the knit, the all black (black heel cup) has overall darker knit and that is the only visible difference other than the heel cup color.
left had black heel cup right has purple heel cup
Does your black heel cup pair have a bluish color in the primeknit in the toe area? Mine has one. And I have seen some pics which shows both the black and purple pairs to have that shade of blue on the primeknit in the toe area. Is it just the lighting?
I see, could there be two different versions of the black/white UB's? Here is a pic of the black/white UB's that released locally in an adidas store. (You can see that the blue hue is clearly noticeable. The pair I bought online from an eBay seller also has that blue hue)I don't notice a blue hue but in some lights, it looks a bit brownish but I really didn't even notice until I put it next to the pair with the blue heel cup. I think the hue will vary with the lighting.
Yes sir. I got them from Sneakersnstuff last week for 156 I believe.is this the collegiate navy color?

I haven't really gotten the chance to wear it in the sunlight yet. I'll check when I get the chance to wear them again. But as time passed the blue hue does seem to get darker and not as prominent as when it was new. Although I can still clearly see the blue hue still although not as noticeable as before. When I first got the shoes it looked just like the one in the pic from the adidas store. Very prominent. That's interesting but I do think it might just be the lighting but that does look almost like the navy pair in that pic. I'll check my pair out again later in better lighting.
Is the blue hue still very noticeable in the sunlight?
Hmm....I see my size is gone for the collegiate navy colorway on adidas.com. I wasn't expecting them to be going so fast

Silver UB stock pictures don't do them justice.
Repped for this. Not too much of a difference between them. Ended up copping the navy before my size disappeared and will be sending the core blacks back once I get em in the mail. There's a slight difference in the shade of black on the knit, the all black (black heel cup) has overall darker knit and that is the only visible difference other than the heel cup color.

Anyone actually use them for running? It doesn't look like the rubber sole bottom would hold up good after a while. Could someone show pics if they've been using them daily for running?
