Dunno if this is common knowledge or not, but I never knew Adidas isn't the one who developed/owns the boost foam.
so who else uses it?
im a 10 in Flyknit Racers, but a 10.5 in Ultra Boosts.I need some quick advice on how the Ultra Boosts fit... There's no where local to try them on (any version).
I'm a 10 across the board, Jordan 1s, 6s, Roshe, Flyknit Racer, ZX Flux, Stan Smith, etc... A size 9.5 Roshe is a bit too small for comfort in length.
The only shoe that's a 10 that is a bit tight on me is the Disc Blaze because it has a built in "sock" as opposed to a tongue and laces. The opening squeezes against the top of my foot.
On the other hand, I'm a size 43 in dress shoes and even fit into a UK9/US9.5 in the adidas x Neighborhood Brussel Moc.
I need to know if I should go with the 9.5 or 10.5 in the J&D Ultra Boosts since they're also in a sock/bootie form.
Help!

BASF created the foam. adidas saw it as a great opportunity to use on their running shoes...and then developed it into other sports as well.No one besides Adidas, that post was pretty misleading really. It was developed by BASF if you want to read more about it.so who else uses it?
I'm confused, that's pretty much what I said.

didnt know that. cool. It's no mystery that shoe companies use others that specialize in chemicals to create materials. Nike / adidas designers aren't chemists.
Nike paid Daewoo millions to create the material used in the foamposite.

Ended up going 10.5.12.5 in fly racer, 12.5 in UB

EDIT: Checkout seems bugged. It says $12 for shipping but shows up as $24 in my cart. Can't seem to checkout on Paypal either. Eh i'll give it a day or two before i order. Kinda need a code to sweeten the deal. BTW the 15% signup code doesn't work.
Soles cushion-wise, UB is one of the best out there. In overall comfort though, the primeknit upper would be better as a lace-up than a bootie design, it does stretch and adapt to your feet but it can be a bit too tight from the get go.
I don't know if it's just me but at times when I wear UBs they are perfectly fine when moving around and walking and actually doing something, I guess the upper stretches as you move and whatnot but when I just sit still for long periods of time, it feels a bit constricting to a point of discomfort.
I might have to try that as well. Maybe no insoles for a sort of pure boost feel.Put in a thinner insole. That's what I did after trying them on with the stock insoles.
