ADIDAS BBall Boost Thread - BYW, Crazy Explosive & Crazy Light & OTHER BBALL ADJACENT SNEAKERS

I don't get why Adidas waited so long to drop the PK of these. Clearly NBA players love them, and the jacquard pairs got pretty poor reviews for fit. Seems like they missed a lot of money now since most ppl will prolly pick Hardens over them at this point.

I prefer these though.

Nicely put. I think adidas missed out on getting more CLB sales by sitting on the PK versions for so long.

I don't get the delay either.  You could say the same about the CE Lows, but with the Hardens and Dame 3's, I kind of see why.  A ton of Adidas Boost bball shoes out.

I know the CLB 2016 didn't work for a lot of people because of the fit, but they're fine for me.  I really like the feel underfoot.  They feel very natural and they work well for both full court transition and half court sets.

They definitely did not anticipate Harden MVP caliber year resulting from D'Antonis system.

If they aren't going to release more PK CLB16s, then they might as well throw it up on MiAdidas and let people design their own.

I wasn't sure myself. I saw a few on instagram that I saw folks had so thought they might be legit. Perhaps a bhm colorway for the US

man when are the ce lows dropping, i can't do hightops but i need to try boost basketball

Man. I just sold my red CE PKs to get the AW colorway for $100 on FNL and they sold out in my size. Fml

Cool. So, I'm thinking if grabbing a pair of the Harden PE Crazy Light Boost 2.5s. I've heard the cushion isn't great, or very soft or any in the forefoot. I don't have any boost shoes. Can anyone tell me how those compare to say Curry shoes or brandblack? I would be using for casual, so I realize I don't Need anything amazing, but is oukd like to be able to use them for a full day and not have any issues or feel like him walking on a board.

The heel boost is thick so it has some bounce to it, the forefoot doesn't have boost so it's not as good as the heel but it doesn't feel awful either. The durability of the outsole, support, and fit was the weaker attribute but you're wearing them casually that doesn't matter too much. You can put in thicker insoles it'll make the fit and the cushioning better. Not sure which colorway you are getting but if it has primeknit get that as it adds to the comfort. Actually I'm not even sure some of the Harden PEs are primeknit, looks like mesh. I prefer the regular 2 because of the upper, all primeknit. You would like the CLB over the Harden 1 casually if you were to ask.

Coming through with the info. Thanks And Repped. I was thinking if getting the black with the white front. Similar color blocking to the Vol 1. Thatsvkinda what I was thinking was to do about a half size down and get a thicker insole need be.

That's the colorway i'd get too. Let me know how you like them when you get them and if the upper is primeknit or mesh.

I watched the video review on YouTube from Jarron (Jarhonmon -- I think), I think from weartesters and he said it was. Who knows lol. With Nike lying about the zoom in Kobe ADs anything is possible.

Yeah nightwing started that lol. It's purely cosmetics an exaggeration should I say. It's like those food pictures were it's enlarged and beautied up to make it look more appealing haha.

i found the CLB Lows to be sort of heavy. But maybe my legs just weak af.

I quickly went back to the Kobe IX non-elite model (I enjoy the traction and the pellets on the insole).

Did the lows of the Crazy Explosive ever release? Am
I super late haha?

CE lows aren't out yet, suppose to come out next month.

And all boost shoes are pretty heavy just because the boost materials density and I don't think they can make it lighter without sacrificing even more of the boosty-ness.

This was probably one of the main reasons the first CLB only had it on the heels (it is in the name that it is crazy light :lol ) and even that wasn't the lightest shoe to begin with.

I have six pairs of the 2015 CLB.
The 2.5 might be PK, but is way more rigid & thick than the PK on the regular 2.
The traction wears out fast, but it's fine for casual use. I've worn them all day with no problem.
I'd say they're less comfortable than Brandblack, but more than the Currys.
The wht/blk/red Harden colorway is the best by far.
