anyone buy from itunes.. how come no Pretty Flacko RMX..also Joyde has gucci, flocka, and P listed but obviously doesnt have any of them..

Picked up the album before & just finished up my 1st listen. Im really feelin the dark / chill feel to this album. Its gonna take some time getting used to his singing though :lol

1 Train is straight filthy :x :x :hat The beat is perfect for this type of track & everyone bodied it.

His flow on Suddenly :x

Q :{ :{ Put a good kid in your Section.80 :smokin These 2 always delivering on their collab tracks.

Clams Casino went to work with his tracks too... Rocky over his production is always on point.

Not feelin Wild For The Night... That's pretty much what I expected that track to sound like & I just can't rock with it.

Ghetto Symphony :eek :eek

out of all the young brothas that have come up from the digital streets of the internet and moved over to a major label

this with the Kendrick Lamar album has to be the best new jack album out
in fact i like this album more on a first listen then the Kendrick Lamar album

Maybe it's just me and I'm prepared for it to be just me... But I can mess with this ^%$# and his weirdness way more than I can with Kendrick.

Kendrick is like that smart #$% dude who thinks he's better than everyone, Rocky is that chill dude who was up on *$#@ before anyone else and goes with the flow.

^It's your opinion, and I respect it, but, if that's your criteria, i kind of feel sorry for your musical appreciation.

Do yourself a favor, give GKMC one spin front to back, see if you don't change your mind.

I have the album in the whip. Bought it first day in fact. I don't see all the hype behind it. How is GKMC any better than Joey Bad***** 1999 or K.R.I.T.'s 4eva N a Day?

It's all subjective. But for various reasons, I can't get into Kendrick. To each their own.

I supported and bought the album. Even if I DLed on the first day it leaked. I still listen to it. The only songs I really don't care for are Hell, Pain, Wild for The Night, and Fashion Killa.... everything else is :smokin

Didn't listen to any leaks and my dumb*** got the regular version hard copy, not the deluxe :{

Still :hat though

Not to fuel this thread spiraling, but it tells a story in a perfect way. The whole thing is linear and perfectly depicts the life of 16 year-old Kendrick. Each song fits a vibe, a feeling, an emotion. He's a conflicted young man in a less-than-ideal environment. Literally the only flaw on the album is the hook on "Real".

album is straight. definitely better than liveloveasap.. gotta say the intro woulda been my favorite track had it not been for that weak hook

Might cop anyway to support my dude.  For what I expected, it was a solid debut.  Sonically, it was dope.  Lot of smooth tracks, but the lyrical content and subject matter didn't get any better from LiveLove, which was kind of a let down.

I think what bothered me most was the line on Suddenly:

"F the conscious rap,

I ain't no conscious cat.."

Best song on the album, only song with any real substance, and he still goes out of his way to say that.
