Mixtape is cool. You can never be mad at Clams Casino beats. They aren't the best MCs but they can rap and are cool. It's definitely worth a few spins. And for everyone talking about the mix quality, Clams Casino always has dirty beats. Reminds me of listening to 36 Chambers for the first time. That album is just dirty and gritty but still great.

I'd say this has mos def been mastered (if only in a basic standard form of it) since most of the frequency levels are pretty consistent between each song. It's a cohesive balance. It's just been mixed very poorly. Clams Casino is a great producer but obviously doesn't have a big engineering background since basically all of his beats tend to have a lot of conflicting low frequencies (unavoidable if you don't know what you're doing and you have a lot of modulated low end sounds fighting for bandwidth) that's why it sounds

in some sections.

I doubt many of these ASAP producers are savvy mix engineers and I doubt they had one go through their sessions and fix it all for them.
Especially those distorted low heavy Clams Casino beats, as gorgeous as they are, wouldn't be worth the headache
